Washington pitcher Kaitlin Inglesby drove in three runs Monday night as the Huskies beat Arizona 8-3 in a Pacific-12 game at Hillenbrand Stadium.

Catcher Shawna Wright added two RBIs for Washington, which improved to 24-8 and 2-1 in Pac-12 play. The UA fell to 21-10 and 1-2.

Inglesby struck out seven while walking three en route to her 10th victory of the season against three losses. Arizona's Estela Piñon took the loss, giving up two earned runs in two innings and falling to a record of 7-3.

Washington opened the scoring in the first inning on a solo home run by left fielder Missy Taukeiaho, adding two more in the third when Victoria Hayward singled and scored on an Inglesby double and Taukeiaho came home on an Arizona error. Arizona scored its first run in the bottom of the inning when catcher Chelsea Goodacre homered.

Washington added a single run in the fourth inning and scored twice in both the fifth and sixth innings. Arizona scored its final two runs in the bottom of the fifth when Alex Lavine and Chelsea Suitos singled and scored on a double by Lauren Young.
