For the second straight game, the Arizona softball team stranded 10 runners and scored only once in a 2-1 loss to Oregon State on Saturday in Corvallis, Ore.

The Wildcats (28-21, 5-12 Pac-12), who fell 2-1 to the Beavers on Friday, took over sole possession of last in the league. They'll try to salvage a win today against OSU.

With the score tied 1-all in the seventh inning, Arizona loaded the bases with a fielder's choice and two walks before Kelsey Rodriguez flied out to right field.

Estela Piñon (9-8), who relieved UA starter Nancy Bowling in the bottom of the seventh, walked two before an error loaded the bases. Lea Cavestany's grounder to second scored Dani Gilmore with the winning run.

Bowling didn't allow a hit until the fourth, when she gave up a tying RBI single to Desiree Beltran.

UA had taken a 1-0 lead on Rodriguez's sacrifice fly with the bases loaded in the first, but OSU shortstop Elizabeth Santana robbed Brigette Del Ponte of a possible RBI single to end the threat.
