They be joined by Salpointe Catholic graduate Tairia Mims Flowers, who is an assistant coach. Flowers won a national title at UCLA and a gold medal for the United States, and currently the Cal State Northridge head coach.

The team will play exhibitions starting June 25 in Florida, Virginia and Maryland before participating in the Canadian Open Fast Pitch International Championship and the World Cup of Softball in July.

The squad will travel to Mexico for the Pan American Games in October.
