Tucson Country Day School's red carpet treatment

The red carpet is literally rolled out to welcome students as they return for the new academic year at the Tucson Country Day School. It originally opened as a private school in 1968 with students in pre-school through the sixth grade. In 2000, it became a public charter school. Now, Tucson Country Day School is a tuition-free public charter school with students from kindergarten through the eighth grade.
