Tucson police are trying to identify this man, who attempted to rob a bank at about 2:30 p.m. June 25, 2013. The attempt was made on Wells Fargo Bank located inside the Fry’s Grocery Store at 2480 North Swan Road. The man placed a paper bag on the teller’s counter and said it was a bomb. He demanded money from the tellers, but fled before getting any money. The bag was left behind and found to contain a simulated explosive device. The suspect is described as an African-American man in his mid-30s, standing between 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing between 150 and 175 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and a fisherman’s hat.
