  • Notable: One of Arizona's most decorated players after winning national title in 1997 and following it up with a Pac-10 Player of the Year award in 1999 and consensus NCAA All-American first-team honors. Was named Sports Illustrated's National Player of the Year. Won NBA Sixth Man of the Year award in 2009 and was a key cog on Dallas's NBA-title-winning team in 2011. He has said he wants to coach at the UA when he retires from the NBA. Currently fourth all-time in made three-pointers in NBA history (1,911).

Jason Terry celebrates a UA victory by riding on the shoulders of fans who stormed the court after the Cats defeated Stanford 78-76 on January 28, 1999. Terry was ranked second among Arizona's NBA-drafted players who appeared on an ESPN list that ranked the colleges with the best NBA players. Arizona was No. 6 on the list.
