Customs officers in Nogales seized 160 pounds of cocaine hidden in an SUV on Sept. 9. Customs and Border Protection said in a news release the drugs were worth about $1.8 million. The agency said officers working at the DeConcini crossing in Nogales sent the driver of a Hyundai SUV to a secondary inspection. There, a drug dog found the cocaine in a rear cargo area. The driver, a 27-year-old man from Hermosillo, Sonora, was arrested.
