Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse is one of three local nonprofits awarded grants from Tucson Federal Credit Union as part of its eighth annual Community Partnership Awards.

  • Tucson Federal Credit Union: The credit union selected three local nonprofits to receive a total of $45,000 as part of its eighth annual Community Partnership Awards. Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse received the largest donation of $25,000. Receiving $10,000 each were Integrative Touch for Kids and the Southern Arizona Research, Science and Engineering Foundation. TFCU’s application process determines charitable organizations’ ability to transform lives and measure the direct impact of the funds.
  • Aspen Dental Practices: On June 9, the Aspen Dental office at 1218 W. Irvington Road, will open its doors to provide free care to veterans. The effort is part of Aspen’s Day of Service and its Healthy Mouth Movement, a community-giving initiative that delivers free dental care to veterans. Local veterans must call 1-844-277-3646 to schedule an appointment. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
