Scary Face pancakes at IHOP are available throughout the month of October.

Let's face it, you're not going to cook much this weekend. Here are three places offering Halloween specials, so that you can focus more on your costume!

  • On Halloween, kids 12 and under wearing a costume get a free kids meal at Pita Jungle, 5340 E. Broadway and 7090 N. Oracle Road.
  • Starting at 5 p.m. on Halloween, Chipotle is serving $3 "Booritos" to anyone wearing a costume. (Technically, you're supposed to wear something "unnecessary" on your costume, to highlight the fact that Chipotle doesn't use unnecessary additives in its food products. But they may let you slide.) You can also get your tacos and burrito bowls for the same price. And if you want to pile it up with guacamole, it's fair game!

There are multiple Chipotle locations in Tucson, including 905 E. University Blvd., 4774 E. Grant Road and 635 W. Ina Road.

  • Outback Steakhouse is offering $2.99 kids meals with purchase of an adult entree, or 15 percent off your entire bill. You must present a coupon — paper or on your phone — to redeem offer.

Both locations, 4871 E. Grant Road and 2240 W. Ina Road, have the offer until Nov. 1.

Access the coupon at Outback's website, here

You can find the Star's digital food writer Andi Berlin at a taqueria near you, taking tiny bites and furiously scribbling into an old notepad.
