Photos: Tucsonans gather for national 'Good Trouble' protest
Hundreds of Tucsonans gathered at Gene C. Reid Park this morning for a national day of protest to rebuke Trump and honor the late U.S. Rep. John Lewis, an icon of the 1960s civil-rights movement and a longtime Democratic congressman from Georgia.
Phineas Anderson, Bennett Burke, Tre’Davon Rhodes, Isabel Garcia, and Cecilia Valdez delivered speeches at Georges DeMeester Performance Center before moving the protest along East 22nd Street and South Country Club Road.
