Floyd Edward Tolar
98, of Tucson, AZ died at his home early Friday evening, July 27, 2012. He was born October 7, 1913 in Homestead Twp., Benzie Co., MI. An Air Force veteran serving in Japan, Alaska and various bases in the U.S., he proudly served his country from June 1947 to June 1967. Floyd had a passion for music and entertained many playing the organ. He loved life and always said "I've had a wonderful life". Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice; daughter, Donna Solomon and sons, Gordon and David. He is survived by his sons, James Tolar (Maura), Dennis Tolar (Alice) as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
