Building a relationship with God

Hello, dear readers. A warm greeting I send to each one of you the peace of Christ is with you. I’m Anabel Quijada, pastor of Menlo Park Church, 118 N. Westmoreland Ave. Happy New Year 2022 to all of you, may God bless you and grant you the requests of your heart. In 1 Corinthians 2:7 it says, “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory.”

We are entering a New Year of 2022, we all have been through difficult times, it has been very sad the last two years. But here we continue with faith and hope, that God has everything under control. And that we hope that this year will be much better for everyone. There is something we also need, and that is wisdom — to be wise, to be able to go forward with the wisdom that God gives us.

Thank God for protecting us, and let us continue on the right track. We are a privileged people to be able to say my father, my God, we need to announce it a lot and in the best way. May the new year that awaits us be able to stand firm in what you believe, in what you think, in what you want. This year was also sad, and no one knows what the next one will be like but God.

It is necessary to grow in wisdom, as Paul says; it is necessary for all of us to have requests but that your priority is to ask for wisdom. Earthly wisdom does help, of course, but in the earth. You need to ask for heavenly wisdom and that is only provided to you by God. When your wisdom is only earthly, you cannot distinguish it from the wisdom of spirit. The Bible tells me that I am valued, that you are valued through the blood of Christ and that Jesus payed the price for us. So, with this what do you do? Be prepared to look for a relationship with God and, as I have always said, to look for a relationship with God, and I will not get tired of telling you because it is the key to success.

In this coming new year, may you be able to begin it with Christ, together on the way. You can begin to depend on him, and no one else. We are entangled in many things for lack of wisdom, and God’s word says that the first thing God gives you when you ask for wisdom is peace.

We are called to be able to live a life in faith and with wisdom. God gave us a name, with a surname we are called children of God. He has already granted us everything but sometimes we do not realize that we have it. God wants the best for you; it’s all up to you how interested you are in learning from God. Start praying for wisdom from on high. Transform your life and be at peace with Christ.

God bless you and may you have a great New Year of 2022 with God’s wisdom in your life. Again, thank you for the cards that some of you have sent me. With love, Pastor Anabel Quijada.
