Story: Domino has such an endearing, sweet, expressive face. When you walk past his kennel, he sits against the door with the same hopeful, pleading look and a paw raised in the air as if to say, pick me. His volunteer friends all say he's a sweet, sensitive boy who craves companionship. He's a bit shy but warms up quickly - especially when you have treats! Domino has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure it's a good fit.

Story: Handsome boy Hercules is a big softy! He's always wagging his tail in his kennel and looking forward to a walk. Hercules likes to watch the birds and other wildlife in the park but doesn't react negatively. This velvet house hippo is always happy to make new human friends and appreciates any time he can sit with friends and take in the sights and sounds. Story: Misty is a gorgeous Aussie mix. She is a special girl who needs a special angel family. Misty loves children, other dogs, and everyone she meets! Misty enjoys playing, cuddling, her stuffed animals and just sitting in the sun. Misty was diagnosed with a probable case of Mega Esophagus, a condition that means her esophagus opens wider than most dogs do. Misty needs to eat sitting up and should eat her food in meatball sized amounts. Misty also has some unexplained occasional weakness in her back legs. Spinal radiographs are normal. She is Valley Fever negative, spayed, and up to date on her vaccines. She is so loving and deserves to have a special life with someone who understands her needs.

Story: Jones is one lucky kitten since he was rescued by Paws Patrol. They found his mom and siblings who were trying to survive in the desert. They all were a little skinny and needed some tender loving care so the family went to live with a wonderful foster family. Jones’ foster family says he has the cutest little walk that makes them giggle. Now life is easy with lots of treats, playtime, and snuggles. Speaking of snuggles, this kitten loves to nap on laps and be pet. Jones has a sleek black coat that shines in the sunlight and big bright eyes that will surely melt your heart. If you'd like to double your love, maybe you would consider adopting one of his brothers too? Adoption qualifications required.

Story: Mama Doja is a beautiful girl with stunning green eyes and magnificently long white whiskers. A native of Amado, she was outside for a little while and found out she was going to be a mama. Caring for kittens and keeping them safe is not easy, especially in the desert. Paws Patrol came to the rescue and found her a safe place for her and her family. Mama Doja and her kittens moved in with a foster family. Her foster family loves kitties and treats the family like the precious little fur babies they are. Mama Doja likes being safe and is getting a little spoiled. Her foster family says that Mama Doja is an easy-going gal and enjoys spending time on their lap. Her fur is lush and she has the cutest little white booties on her feet. Soon she will be done raising her kittens and looking for a forever home. Adoption qualifications required.

Story: She came to us with her kittens and they’ve found their forever homes. We’re still looking for this quirky girl’s forever person though. She’s personable, and generally likes pets, but occasionally get squirrely and decides “No pets today!” then dashes off to see what’s going on in another part of the shelter. She’s very sweet and her personality shines through if you give her a second to show you who she is. Come meet this adorable girl, and see if her silliness is perfect for you.
