Former Wildcat running back Orlando Bradford was arrested Sept. 14, after his girlfriend told police he had physically abused her.

Bradford, 20, has been charged with eight counts of domestic violence aggravated assault and three counts of domestic violence kidnapping, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

The duplicate charges stem from multiple crimes committed over several days and a second victim coming forward the morning after his arrest, Dugan said.

Bradford practiced with the Wildcats on the morning of Sept. 14. The victim contacted TPD around that time, and officers investigated. Bradford was arrested later in the day, Dugan said, and booked into Pima County Jail.

When the second victim came forward on Sept. 15, Bradford, who was still in jail, was re-booked on the additional charges.
