40-year-old Sabrina Phillips was booked into the Pima County Jail on Feb. 16 in on charges of arson, criminal damage and aggravated assault of a police officer, authorities said.
On Feb. 9, Tucson Fire Department and Tucson police responded to reports of a fire in the 3400 block of East 28th St, said department spokeswoman, Sgt. Kimberly Bay.
While firefighters battled the house fire, officers located two citizens attempting to detain a woman who was holding a cigarette lighter in each hand. After resisting officers attempts to subdue her, Philips was tazed and taken to a nearby hospital, Bay said.
She was booked into jail following her release from the hospital.
Police believe that Philips set the fire intentionally inside the residence and attempted to burn other items in the yard before she was detained by the neighbors.
