Annual Harvest for Hope to raise money for Catalina Community Services

It’s not too early to sign up for the seventh annual Harvest for Hope 5k non-competitive walk/run event to benefit Catalina Community Services. The first 500 people to register will receive a T-shirt. And the only cost to participate is a bag of nonperishable food that will be donated to CCS.

The event will start at 5 p.m. Oct. 6 at Oro Valley Marketplace on the southwest corner of North Oracle and East Tangerine roads.

People who complete the walk or run get a medal.

To register go to www.harvest4hope.org online, or pick up an entry form at the All About Running and Walking store, 12162 N. Rancho Vistoso Blvd., in the Rancho Vistoso Safeway Plaza. You can also register the day of the event.
