One man was killed and his passenger seriously injured in a crash on the city's southeast side.
The east and westbound lanes of West Valencia Road at South Houghton Road will be closed for several hours due to the fatal collision, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
Traffic on northbound Houghton is restricted.

One vehicle was occupied by an elderly man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, and a woman. The woman was taken to a hospital with injuries, Widmer said.
A woman, who was driving the other vehicle, remained at the scene.
Traffic detectives took over the investigation.
