1 person injured in shooting near Irvington Road and Campbell Avenue

Tucson police investigate a shooting near Irvington and Campbell Friday night.

At least one person was injured in a shooting on Tucson's south side Friday night, police say.

At about 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of East Irvington Road, near South Campbell Avenue, for reports of a shooting.

The condition of the injured person was not known, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

No further information has been released.
