Several parents called Sahuarita police Monday about a potential act of violence at the Walden Grove High School, but police said they already dealt with the incident.
The parents' concerns stemmed from a call that police investigated Dec. 6. Police and school officials took appropriate action, the Sahuarita Police Department said in a news release Monday.
Police reported no current threat of violence at the high school.
The student involved with the Dec. 6 incident was kept from school by the student's parents, who are in contact with the school district.
Sahuarita police officers will remain at the school until the end of the day.
