Fast-moving storms arrive in the Old Pueblo Wednesday

A strong storm moved rapidly, around 40 mph, passed Tucson, according to the National Weather Service.

Tucsonans were met with slick roads during their work commute as scattered storms arrived in the area.

However, the fast-moving storms only provided less than a quarter inch of rain across the city, the National Weather Service said.

The best chance for additional storms has moved to portions of Cochise, Graham, and Greenlee counties, officials said.

By tomorrow, drier conditions are expected to arrive and last through the weekend.
