The Tucson Jewish Community Center hosted 153 new U.S. citizens hailing from 39 different countries in a swearing in ceremony, on Feb. 14, 2020.
The ceremony was administered by U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Scott H. Gan. New citizens hail from 39 countries including: Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bhutan, Brazil, Burma, Cambodia, Canada, China, Congo, Costa Rica, Cuba, Egypt, El Salvador, Guatemala, India, Iraq, Jamaica, Kenya, Laos, Liberia, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Uganda, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
