Tucson police officers are searching for one of the suspects who led officers on a short car chase and fired at a patrol car on Tucson's north side Tuesday night.

Officers initially arrived at the Sunland Motel, 465 W. Miracle Mile, to serve an arrest warrant for an unnamed man, said Tucson police spokesperson Sgt. Pete Dugan.

An officer saw four people get into a car and proceeded to follow it near Oracle Road and Glenn Street. The chase began after officers attempted to pull the car over.

At least one of the occupants shot at the patrol car, Dugan said. The officer was not injured.

The car crashed and the occupants attempted to flee from officers. Three suspects have been arrested. Officers are searching for the fourth, Dugan said.

No further information has been released.
