Summer heat

The midafternoon sun beats down on a Tucson worker as he adjusts signals at a road-widening project at North La Cañada Drive and West Orange Grove Road.

Tucson's mix of sunshine and cloud cover should keep temperatures from reaching the triple digits once again today.

While we'll still be close to hitting the mark with a high of 99 degrees, there should also be a bit of breeziness throughout the day.

Tucson should be back to that triple-digit heat tomorrow, only a couple of days since hitting that mark for the first time this year.

High: 99
