A hawk that flew away after a Raptor Free Flight show at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum has returned home.
The museum shared an update on Wednesday afternoon that the hawk had come back to the museum grounds and flew right onto his trainer's glove.
The Desert Museum had been trying to locate the Harris hawk since it took off from one of the Free Flight shows on Friday afternoon.
The museum asked for the public's help in locating him on Monday on the museum's Facebook page, which was then widely shared on social media.
All of the birds involved with the show have trackers, but the tracker had fallen off Mica, the museum said.
"He looks happy and healthy and is safe and secure," the museum wrote in a Facebook post. "THANK YOU to every single person who shared information with us and their friends about Mica!"
