A small wildfire is burning on the eastern slope of Mount Fagan southeast of Tucson on Thursday evening.

Officials believe the Ojo Blanco Fire south of Corona de Tucson was started by lightning from storms that moved through the area. The fire is estimated to be about 100 acres.

Fire managers are actively monitoring the blaze and have crews that can be called in on Friday if needed to fight the fire. There is the possibility that forecasted rain tonight and Friday could douse the blaze.

The fire is burning grass in steep, rugged terrain on Coronado National Forest land.
