A woman suffered minor injuries after crashing her SUV at the front entrance of a Bank of America Tuesday in north Tucson, Oct. 30, 2018.

No one was injured after an SUV crashed outside the front of a Bank of America near North Oracle Road and West Ina Road Tuesday morning, officials say.

At approximately 11:06 a.m., a woman drove her SUV up the bank’s exterior staircase and then flipped it onto its side, landing within a foot of the bank’s front entrance, according to Capt. Brian Keeley, a spokesperson for Northwest Fire.

The woman was the only person in the vehicle and suffered minor injuries, Keeley said.

Keeley said it is unknown why she lost control of her SUV.

Access to the bank was limited while officials were on scene.
