Letter: Minimum sage at Tucson schools

Letter: Minimum sage at Tucson schools

Are we expected to be angry that some school district employees have to be paid more because of the new minimum wage? I'm angry that the school systems employed people at minimum wage in the first place. For all the whining about the poor state of our schools, local and state governments continue to push wages down as far as possible. But we still have money for new private prisons and tax breaks for corporate citizens.

If I had children of school age, I'd beat my feet out of this state as fast as I could go.
