If you're a fan of driving in the blistering Arizona heat, General Motors has just the job for you.
The auto giant's desert proving ground in Yuma is looking to add nearly two dozen drivers to handle heavy summertime workloads.
The facility is in Arizona to see if GM prototypes can handle our state's sizzling heat.
GM did its hot weather testing in Mesa for more than 50 years before selling the site and moving to a spot on the Army's Yuma Proving Ground in 2009.
GM Desert Proving Ground manager Frank West tells the Yuma Sun that prototypes from small hybrids to trucks are tested from one to five years before they're placed on the market.
The drivers are being hired through contractor Kett Engineering.
