Article about Ethel Macia and the Tombstone Rose was interesting. You mentioned her son James Herbert Macia returned safely from WWII, but you didn't mention he was a Doolittle Raider (B-25s flew from a carrier to bomb Japan in 1942). He was the Navigator/Bombardier on plane No. 14. He was still alive in 2004 when the Doolittle Raiders had their Reunion in Tucson, but was apparently too frail to come, so I didn't get to meet him.
