Re: the Feb. 13 article "AZ voters may be asked to repeal new wage law."
As a former small-business owner, I need to respond to our Legislature trying to change our current minimum wage law with Resolution 1016. An objective look at any business is, can it survive while providing a “livable compensation package” to its employees?
The determination of what that compensation should be is clearly within the realm of the consensus view of the general population. That is exactly what we now have in Arizona. There are many ways to compete in the marketplace, but taking advantage of employees is not one of them!
