So once again the kids who survived the assault talk about the horrors of hearing shots
and the murder of friends and teachers. Meanwhile the “adults” talk about back-ground
checks and mental health. It is beyond madness that almost no one suggests making it
illegal to buy or sell military type weapons.
Can it be that they are paralyzed by fear of the NRA ands its warped interpretation of
the 2nd amendment? Can it be that the belief that immigrants and non-whites are
threatening their privileged status? Or is it some other fear? Whatever their motivations
it seems to justify, for them, the repeated sacrifice of children.
