At least twenty of his fellow U.S. Senators have called for the resignation of Sen. Al Franken of Minnesota, based on allegations of sexual misconduct. I agree. Franken should resign because high government officials must be held to the highest degree of moral rectitude. However, I think that Franken should wait and see if Roy Moore wins the Alabama primary next week. And if so, Franken should--as a precondition to his resignation--insist that Moore be also barred from the Senate based on the same type disgusting conduct. And while he's at it, Franken should also insist that our esteemed president be included in the deal. What's fair is fair, right?
