For the second time in three days, the Arizona Wildcats have landed a transfer that could help them in the post. Australian forward Keanu Pinder signed with the UA on Saturday.
"I can't wait to get started," he tweeted.
The 6-foot-8-inch, 220-pound Pinder averaged 10.2 pounds and seven rebounds per game at Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College last season. Pinder recently decommitted from New Mexico; the Perth native was committed to Nebraska out of high school.
Before that, Pinder attended Kansas' Sunrise Christian Academy, where UA center Dusan Ristic played as a high school senior, and went on to Hutchinson CC, where UA guard Kadeem Allen was the juco player of the year in 2014.
Pinder is the second transfer to join the UA this week. UNC Asheville forward Dylan Smith chose the Wildcats on Wednesday.
