Arizona freshman forward Sidiki Johnson has been suspended indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules, and his long-term future may also be in doubt.
Johnson, a 6-foot-8, 235-pound, freshman forward from the Bronx, N.Y., has made three appearances for the Wildcats this season, averaging 0.3 points and 0.7 rebounds.
Johnson was held out of UA's game against Mississippi State on Nov. 18, though it was not termed as a suspension.
UA said the length of suspension has yet to be determined and no comment was offered on the school's news release. The announcement came after Miller's weekly scheduled news conference.
When asked at the news conference how much Johnson or Angelo Chol might play Wednesday at San Diego State, Miller said Chol would probably get an opportunity but did not mention Johnson.
Johnson played for four high schools, transferring in the middle of last season from Oak Hill Academy to Wadleigh High School in Harlem.
Attempts to reach Johnson's mentor, Bernard Bowen, were not successful.
