COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Kevin Kramer hit a two-run double in the eighth inning, leading the Indianapolis Indians to a 3-1 win over the Columbus Clippers on Friday.
The double by Kramer scored Will Craig and Ke'Bryan Hayes and was the game's last scoring play.
In the top of the third, Indianapolis took the lead on a double-play groundout by Nick Franklin that scored JB Shuck. Columbus answered in the fourth inning when Bobby Bradley hit a solo home run.
Tyler Lyons (2-0) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Josh D. Smith (5-1) took the loss in the International League game.
