Heavy rains and flooding has forced the Tucson Saguaros to postpone Game 1 of the Pecos League Championship Series, scheduled to begin Tuesday night at Kino Stadium.

Game 1 will now be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kino Stadium. Game 2 will be played Thursday, weather permitting; Game 3, if necessary, is scheduled for Friday.

The Saguaros punched their ticket to the best-of-three championship series by ousting the Roswell Invaders over the weekend. The Star's Jon Gold previewed their title series here
