Once upon a time there was a village in Arizona called SaddleBrooke where there is an active MPLNiner's golf league

A committee of 7, planned and decorated tables for a "Christmas Around the World" theme on December 2, 2025. The committee comprised of Sue Wilson co-chair, Michele Nordeman co-chair, Barbara Bloch, EJ Snearly, Janet Ekkert, Becky Lima, Mariji Quire, Sandi Dickmann, and Ginger Cannon worked on [planning activities and the luncheon. The countries chosen were America, Mexico, Netherlands, Ireland, Russia, Italy, and Scotland. The committee chose "Beads of Courage" as the charity for the event. Raffle Tickets were sold and a box provided for cash donations.

"Beads of Courage" help children diagnosed with serious illnesses to receive a glass bead to hold onto to stay strong and cope with treatments. Each bead gives them a way to record, own, and tell their stories of courage.
