Tucson Meet Yourself

Tucson Meet Yourself is spread over Presidio Park and Jacome Plaza in downtown from Oct. 13-15.

It’s that time of year again.

Tucson Meet Yourself is a 44-year-old festival that celebrates food, language, cultures and people.Β 

Some affectionately call it β€œTucson Eat Yourself,” as more than 50 food vendors will be fixing up their specialties.

This year, new dining options are on the menu: Cuban cuisine, cassava cake from the coast of Nicaragua, and oxtails from CeeDee Jamaican Kitchen.

Check out performances by Phil Wiggins, master of acoustic harmonica;Β Julia GuitiΓ©rrez-Rivera,Β traditional Puerto Rican dancer;Β Lone PiΓ±on, acoustic trio string band; andΒ Sonora LΓ­rico, lyrical opera quartet. Β 

When:Β Friday-Saturday, Oct. 13-14, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sunday, Oct. 15, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
