Photos: Storyteller Project's "How Tucson Became Home"

  • Kelly Presnell / Arizona Daily Star
  • Sep 27, 2018
  • Sep 27, 2018 Updated Jan 13, 2020

Five community members shared true, first-person stories about how Tucson became home at the Tucson Storytellers event at the Tucson Museum of Art on Wednesday, September 26.

Miss the event? Join us for our next evening on December 17 at the Loft to hear Holiday Stories. Click here for tickets!

The Tucson Storytellers Project is dedicated to the idea that oral storytelling and journalism have the same goals: serving and reflecting a community while fostering empathy among people.

These nights blend the authenticity and art of storytelling with the truthfulness, community-building and empowerment that’s at the heart of great journalism.

Do you have a story you want to tell? Share it with Tucson Storytellers!
