Volunteer painters work on Canalside carousel horses
The carousel horses, which were made in North Tonawanda in 1924 and have been in storage for more than 60 years, are being repaired, sanded, primed and painted in preparation for the 2019 opening of a carousel at Canalside.
The pandemic hasn't put a damper on fundraising for the carousel coming in May to Canalside.
The 1924 attraction is being assembled at Canalside's Central Wharf and will open May 28.
