Marco, a drug-sniffing dog, helped find almost 250 of marijuana hidden in a pickup truck.
Last Wednesday the Cochise County Sheriff's Office was advised of a truck abandoned in the desert near Naco, according to a news release.
A deputy brought Marco to investigate and the team discovered 241 pounds of pot — packed in small bundles — hidden in the tires of a 1995 GMC Sierra pick up truck with Sonora license plates.
There were no suspects at the scene. The Cochise County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Enforcement Team is investigating.
