The footage from this summer shows bears digging and bathing at high-elevation watering holes in Saguaro National Park. Wildlife experts predict that bears routinely using these springs helps keep them active for other animals to drink from, according to a Sept. 19 Facebook post by Saguaro National Park.

The National Park Service has been using video cameras to record wildlife activity at springs in the Rincon Mountains as part of a multi-year project to study water usage in the area. Video courtesy of Saguaro National Park.
