Early primary voters weigh in on Trump indictment
Some Republican-leaning voters in early-voting presidential nominating states say they are angry about President Donald Trump’s indictment on charges alleging he improperly maintained classified documents and obstructed efforts to return them are making him too damaged to support in his quest for a third GOP nomination. In interviews with voters in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, the sense of a political double standard is rampant, as they point most notably to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server, despite differences between the two cases.
