Southern Arizona Construction Career Days
More than 1,000 Southern Arizona high school students are getting a glimpse into the construction industry this week, operating heavy machinery, experimenting with electrical wiring and learning what it takes to land a job in the field.

Local high-schoolers learned about engineering, electrical work and other specialty areas.
Event helped with college application, mock interviews and job information.
"We're adding jobs that are only with moderate wages," economist notes.
