Join the SaddleBrooke Genealogy Club at 1 p.m. in the Coyote room of HOA-1 on Thursday, February 6 to hear speaker Amy Urman discuss, “Mastering the Family Search Card Catalog”.

About the SpeakerAmy Urman is the owner of Nosy Wilma LLC, a private investigative agency licensed in the state of Arizona. She is a professional genealogist, licensed private investigator, researcher and lecturer.

Amy trained as an investigator under the tutelage of another investigator. During her 20 years of working for a law firm, she became familiar with locating, searching, retrieving and reviewing court, agency, computer and business documents. She holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University and is a graduate of ProGen. She has received advanced training in Law, Land, Genetic Genealogy, Advanced Methods, Fundamentals and Forensics.

She is the co-founder and past President of the Pima County Genealogy Society. She holds memberships in the Arizona Association of Licensed Private Investigators, the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Arizona Historical Society and numerous state societies. Amy also serves on the Lineage Committee of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Tucson Chapter.

The Genealogy Club normally meets on the first Thursday of the month at 1 p.m. in the coyote room at the HOA-1 Clubhouse. Club dues are $15 and run on a calendar year basis. Speakers are booked with topics focusing on Genealogy and research methods. After presentations, members and guests are encouraged to remain and meet directly with the more experienced members.

On Saturday, February 8, SaddleBrooke has its Activity Fair in the morning. Stop by our table and talk with our members about membership and upcoming speakers. We will have a computer set up to do a quick record search for your family tree.
