Once upon a time there were many women living in the desert who enjoyed creating things with their hands, by either crocheting or knitting. They called themselves the Knit Wits and would gather together once a week for friendship and to encourage one another. These women came from many places across the country bringing their own unique skills. As they settled, other women heard about them and wanted to learn these crafts so they too joined the club. Here is a photo of several ladies posing in or with their creations. Looks like they’re enjoying being together. Come try out the Knit Wits any Wednesday morning from 9:00-11:00. Currently we are meeting in the Coyote Room at Mountain View. We’d love to meet you!
