We wrapped up our season with an exciting challenge: beat the pro, Jane Chanik, and the president, Maire Ryan on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. With competitive spirits high, we formed two-person teams, each determined to take on this final test of the year—and guess what? 29 teams managed to beat the pro and president! It was a thrilling way to close out what had been a fun-filled and productive season.
The day culminated in our end-of-year luncheon, a celebration of all our achievements. This year, we saw a remarkable 132 members come together, creating a strong sense of community and camaraderie. As we reflected on the season, we expressed our heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing Board for their dedication and hard work. And with that, we welcomed our new leadership as Wendy O’Dell took the reins from Maire Ryan, becoming our new president. It was a symbolic moment as the gavel passed to Wendy, marking the beginning of a new chapter for our group.
The luncheon was also a time to recognize the past presidents who were in attendance, many of whom remain active members today. Their continued involvement is a testament to the lasting bonds formed within our community. We also took a moment to thank all of our volunteers, whose time and energy make everything we do possible. And, of course, we couldn’t forget our amazing pro staff, who keep our courses in pristine condition and help run our events with ease.
A special shout-out goes to our Food and Beverage staff, who provided a delicious meal, allowing us to celebrate our season’s end in style. As we look back on a fantastic year, we’re excited for what the future holds and the new adventures we’ll embark on together.
