Arizona landed a commitment from Houston defensive back Jaylen Oliver, who was one of 10 players who took official visits to the UA this past weekend.
Oliver committed to the Wildcats over Mississippi State, Illinois, North Texas, Pittsburgh and UTSA, among others.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Oliver is the first defensive player in Arizona's 2027 recruiting class.
Oliver, who is recruited to play cornerback, is entering his senior season at Westfield High School in Houston. As a junior last season, Oliver recorded 41 tackles, two interceptions and three pass breakups.
Arizona has six players in its 2027 recruiting class. The Wildcats are expected to land more recruits this week.
