UA, Banner announce a new pediatrics faculty member
The University of Arizona Department of Pediatrics and Banner Children’s – Diamond Children’s Medical Center welcome new faculty member Dr. Rajan Senguttuvan.
Senguttuvan, assistant professor, joined the division of Endocrinology. As a pediatric endocrinologist, he will take care of children with type 1 diabetes and other endocrine disorders at Diamond Children’s and Banner – University Medical Center Angel Wing for Children with Diabetes.
He currently is participating in type 1 diabetes research, including the NIH-funded TrialNet study.
Senguttuvan earned his medical degree from Vinayaka Missions Kirupananda Variyar Medical College & Hospital (Salem, India), and completed his pediatrics residency at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center (affiliated to the Weill Cornell University). He then joined the University of Arizona College of Medicine to complete a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology.
