Lizarde returning to KVOA to serve as a weekend anchorÂ
Angelique Lizarde will return to KVOA-TV/News 4, Tucson’s NBC affiliate, as a weekend news anchor. Her first day on-air will be Aug. 3.
Lizarde previously was a multi-media journalist at KVOA from October 2009 until January 2012. Since leaving Arizona she has worked in San Diego, at KFMB-TV (CBS) and most recently at XETV-TV (CW) as a news reporter.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego and a master of science in broadcast journalism from Boston University.
